the brief.
METAASA LLC is a design studio headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina — interior, industrial, graphic and product design, delivered as documented work, not mood boards.
Four studios,
one palette.
Every design task the studio takes sits under one of four recorded disciplines.
Interior design & decorating
Interior design consulting, decorating services and event decoration — space planned, furnished and finished.
Industrial design
Automobile, furniture, hand-tool, tool and packaging design — objects engineered for manufacture, not just drawn.
Graphic & commercial art
Logo and corporate identity, commercial illustration, medical art, silk-screen design and visual communication work.
Fashion & product design
Clothing, costume, float, fur, jewelry, lighting, shoe and textile design — product work across eight disciplines.
What the studio
draws up.
METAASA LLC designs — and the deliverable is a design document, not a mood. Concept, spec, drawing, sample and sign-off: every commission produces a file the client can fabricate from, not just admire.
The Raleigh studio runs four disciplines: interior design and decorating for spaces; industrial design for manufactured objects; graphic and commercial art for images and identities; and fashion and product design across eight material disciplines.
The practice's rule is that design is a documented deliverable — a drawing with dimensions, a palette with codes, a spec a maker can build from. Work that can't be handed off isn't finished; it's just a sketch that got expensive.
"A design isn't done when it looks right — it's done when the spec says someone else can make it."

the board.
Three commitments entered on every commission.
Written brief
Every commission starts with a signed brief — scope, deliverables, rounds and fees on file before the first sketch.
Documented design
Drawings with dimensions, palettes with codes, specs a maker can build from — the file is the design, not the mood.
Signed sign-off
Deliverables close on the client's written approval — a design isn't done until the file says it is.
The canvas,
ready for the brief.
Describe the project, the deliverable and the deadline — the studio responds with a written brief.
